Overview

Overview

I believe in “Engaged Teaching”, being an active doer and user of the knowledge one helps students gain. The ability to fuel curiosity about the world flows much more easily when our passion and energy is displayed through our actions and involvements. By not only offering ideas and theories regarding our content but being able to share rich first hand, real-world experiences, students feel more connected to the material, more easily understand its application, and are excited to go and engage actively themselves.

My hope for this world is to make it a better, healthier place for everyone and this begins with building community. Building strong communities locally and globally of people ready to engage in change, with the guidance, network, and resources they need is the key to making real impact on the challenges we face. Together we find solutions and together we create a brighter future for us all.

Further expanding on the strong, inclusive, and social justice centered community at Alder University is one of the keys to creating lasting global change. Each individual and organization we join arms with will help us spread the positive, forward thinking, and health-centered energy Adlerians hold. Our local and global systems need our influence, from within, and by engaging our work, practitioners, and students with these spaces we can expand our local impact and continue to reach globally to achieve a more just world.
