As an educator, my primary goal is to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to engage with the material, share their ideas, and contribute to a collective learning experience. I firmly believe that a classroom should be a space where curiosity is fostered, diverse perspectives are valued, and intellectual exploration is encouraged. I strive to develop an atmosphere that allows students to feel confident and supported, where they are motivated to take risks, ask questions, and challenge their assumptions without fear of judgment. By using active learning strategies, collaborative activities, and thoughtful discussions, I aim to spark students’ critical thinking and encourage them to apply their learning in meaningful ways.
I am committed to building lasting professional relationships with my students that extend well beyond the classroom. I view education as a partnership, and I take pride in being a mentor who offers guidance, encouragement, and support throughout their academic and professional journeys. My approach fosters open communication, where students are encouraged to seek advice, share their goals, and pursue growth. By maintaining an approachable and respectful demeanor, I create a space for students to feel comfortable in sharing their thoughts and challenges. These relationships are integral not only to their success during their studies but also to their development as professionals long after they leave the university.
As a lifelong learner, I am deeply committed to continuously improving my teaching practices and expanding my knowledge base. I actively engage in professional development opportunities, research, and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of my field. This dedication to growth ensures that I am always bringing the most current, relevant, and impactful knowledge to the classroom. By embracing new technologies, methodologies, and scholarly insights, I aim to inspire my students to view learning as a continuous process, one that extends beyond the boundaries of formal education and into their professional lives. Through this commitment to excellence, I hope to create a learning environment that is both transformative and enduring for all those I have the privilege to teach.

Adler University in Vancouver has been, like Canada itself, born and built with an open mind. Located in the midst of one of the world’s most exciting and breathtaking cities, Adler University reflects a true Canadian spirit. It’s smart, inclusive and determined to make a world of difference. By design, our Vancouver campus echoes the Adler values and intent down every hall and in every room. It is built to live, breathe and inspire those with the passion to pursue a more just society. This is where the work gets done.
At Adler Vancouver, you’ll find multiple collaborative areas with the absolute latest technology. Learning areas and windows have literally been situated to stimulate thought. To some, that may sound odd, but these things do matter. If students are given the space, opportunity and technology to achieve their goals, they are more likely to rock the boat of conventional thought.
