Vancouver | Adjunct Faculty, Industrial and Organizational Psychology
As a certified professional coach, my teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in the principles of transformational leadership, applied psychology, and experiential learning. I believe that education should not only equip learners with theoretical knowledge but also foster critical thinking, self-reflection, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics. As a lifelong learner and leadership coach, I create a collaborative learning environment where students engage in meaningful discussions, challenge assumptions, and apply psychological principles to real-world workplace challenges. Grounded in empathy, compassion, and honesty, my approach mirrors my coaching philosophy where clear, constructive feedback enhances development, and authentic engagement fosters lasting impact.
My goals as an educator align with my broader mission as a leadership coach and people & culture professional. I aim to cultivate future leaders who are not only well-versed in research and methodology but who also understand the human side of organizational success. I encourage students to bridge the gap between theory and practice while preparing themselves to drive workplace transformation, enhance leadership effectiveness, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams. Additionally, I am committed to fostering a learning environment where diverse perspectives are valued, helping students develop cultural competence and the ability to lead in an increasingly globalized and socially conscious business world.
Adler University’s mission to advance social justice and develop socially responsible practitioners strongly resonates with my professional values. Industrial Organizational Psychology has the power to influence not only business outcomes but also workplace equity, inclusion, and employee well-being. Through my lived experience and my background in human resources, leadership development, and conflict resolution, I bring a unique lens to the study of workplace behavior. One that emphasizes the intersection of your personal identity, leadership, and organizational culture. I am honored to contribute to Adler’s academic community and help prepare students to become ethical, forward-thinking professionals who drive meaningful transformation within organizations and the larger society.

Located in the midst of one of the world’s most exciting and breathtaking cities, Adler University reflects a true Canadian spirit. It’s smart, inclusive and determined to make a world of difference. By design, our Vancouver campus echoes the Adler values and intent down every hall and in every room. It is built to live, breathe and inspire those with the passion to pursue a more just society. This is where the work gets done.
At Adler Vancouver, you’ll find multiple collaborative areas with the absolute latest technology. Learning areas and windows have literally been situated to stimulate thought. To some, that may sound odd, but these things do matter. If students are given the space, opportunity and technology to achieve their goals, they are more likely to rock the boat of conventional thought.
