Rebecca P. Johnson, MA, LCPC is an alumnus from Adler University’s 2015 Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Rebecca earned a 2nd Masters in Women & Gender Studies at DePaul University in 2020. Rebecca is the Assistant Director of Youth & Young Adult Services (YAYAS) Research & Innovation at Thresholds, the largest community mental health provider in Illinois. YAYAS are nationally recognized for groundbreaking multidisciplinary program models for vulnerable and marginalized young people with serious mental health needs. Currently, Rebecca leads and coordinates multiple YAYAS research, program evaluation and continuous quality improvement projects, supervises a team of young adult research and innovation specialists (including individuals with lived/living experience with serious mental health diagnoses), coordinates a Young Adult Advisory Board with representatives from across YAYAS that advise on YAYAS programs, practices and policies, and oversees translation of knowledge into useful dashboards, reports, journal manuscripts, conference presentations manual and workforce development tools.
