Advance SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE PRACTICE in the University’s activity and reach.
Goal SetBuild and implement a multi-year Anti-Racism and Inclusion Plan with associated outcomes. |
Goal MetCollected input from stakeholders across the University to rework our Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan into a new Anti-Racism and Inclusion Plan for the University. Expanded diversity of leadership and recruited, hired, and retained an increased number of BIPOC faculty and staff to strengthen our team, and reworked our academic programs, classes, pedagogy, and learning outcomes through a multi-year curriculum transformation initiative. |

Diversify the UNIVERSITY’S ACADEMIC OFFERINGS in socially responsible practice.

Goal MetSupported remote learning in the fall, spring, and summer terms with a return to in-person learning starting in Fall 2021. This year, new academic programs were launched – four in Chicago and two Online. |

Create EXCELLENCE and innovation in education and engagement of communities.

Goal MetStretch goals were defined and pursued in all domains, operationalizing excellence, raising standards for student success, and cultivating continuous quality improvement in all University processes. A three-year diversity recruitment plan has been operationalized, and a tuition calculator was added to our website to help prospective students understand education costs. |

Goal MetAssessed the University’s ability to increase annual fundraising, confirming the capacity of our constituent base to support annual fundraising goal of $3 million, doubling the previous year’s goal. |

Goal MetTotal revenues equaled a 27 percent increase for FY 2021. Contributing to our strong revenues are that more students are recognizing the value of an Adler education and enrolling. Fall 2020 enrollment for the University was a record high of 1,814 students. |

Goal MetRevenues this year have grown 1,168 percent more than pre–FY 2004 Revenue performance of the prior decade, and over the past 18 years, the institution’s revenues have grown 961 percent, with a reliable positive Change in Net Assets. |
