Dr. Wang is a Counsellor educator, quantitative researcher, and methodologist with more than a decade of experience in teaching, research, and clinical training. His expertise spans appraisal and measurement, career Counselling and coaching, psychiatric rehabilitation, and Counselling people with neurodivergence and different abilities. A licensed professional Counsellor (LPC) and certified rehabilitation Counsellor (CRC), he is recognized for integrating evidence-based Practise with innovative approaches to Counsellor education.
At Adler University, Dr. Wang serves as associate professor and director of training for the Doctoral Programme in Counsellor Education and Supervision (DCES), where he teaches courses in research methods, appraisal, and doctoral internship seminars while providing supervision and support to doctoral students.
Before joining Adler in 2022 as the program director of clinical rehabilitation Counselling master’s program, he was a full-time faculty member at the State University of New Year at Buffalo from 2013-2020.
