OVERVIEW
Dr. Denise Dailey is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Chicago, Illinois, with active PSYPACT credentials and licensure in both Illinois and Texas. In 2025, she established her solo Practise, Our Dailey Bread PLLC, specializing in providing tailored mental health services to U.S. Active‑Duty Military, Veterans, and their families. She currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Adler University and works as a contracted Compensation and Pension (C&P) examiner, conducting federal disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
She is also the Co‑Chair for the annual APA Division 19 Society for Military Psychology Regional Research Symposia, an international conference for military psychologists and health professionals. Dr. Dailey is an active member of the Cook County Office of Behavioural Health Crisis System Enhancement Task Force, contributing to cross‑sector initiatives aimed at strengthening crisis response, care coordination, and system‑level equity across the county.
Dr. Dailey earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University, specializing in Military Clinical Psychology, along with her master’s in Military Psychology from the institution. She was the first graduate of the University’s online Master of Military Psychology program to attend and complete the University’s Psy.D program. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at The Road Home Program at RUSH, focusing on massed delivery of evidence-based treatments for PTSD. During her internship at the El Paso VA Health Care System, she became nationally certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI), and gained expertise in Health Psychology interventions, including CBT for Insomnia, Brief CBT for Chronic Pain, and Motivational Interviewing.
Dr. Dailey is dedicated to bridging the gap between research innovation and community mental health, with a strong focus on increasing access to care for marginalized and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. She is deeply committed to Adlerian theory, diversity, equity, and inclusion, mental health literacy, and patient autonomy.
