OVERVIEW

Dr. Tse brings expertise in critical pedagogy, community psychology, and postcolonial Indigenous research paradigms to their teaching and scholarship. As adjunct faculty in Adler University’s Master of Public Policy and Administration Programme, they design and revise courses that foster processes of unlearning and relearning, and they serve as a member of the Research Ethics Board. Their academic work often integrates storytelling as a tool for advocacy and systemic change.

Beyond Adler, Dr. Tse is deeply engaged in advancing equity and accountability within the Ontario Public Service, where they serve as co-chair of the Anti-Racism and Respectful Workplace Advisory Committee and as division lead of the Anti-Racism Action Plan at the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. In these roles, they focus on redistributing decision-making power, strengthening transparency, and addressing systemic barriers faced by people of all intersectional identities.

Since 2023, Dr. Tse has also undertaken a personal self-decolonizing journey, reconnecting with Hong Kong’s 1980s and 1990s entertainment culture—including Cantonese pop music, television, and film—an exploration that has reshaped their perspectives and inspired new forms of resistance to the status quo.
