OVERVIEW
Manal Guirguis-Younger, Ph.D., is director of the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology program at Adler University in Vancouver.
Dr. Guirguis-Younger’s research focuses on homelessness and poverty, palliative care, and alternative models of health care delivery for marginalized groups.
She is also interested in leadership theory and research, particularly in academic training and community mental health, as well as questions related to professional and personal development, civic participation, and leadership.
Throughout her career, Dr. Guirguis-Younger has served in leadership roles at multiple levels, including program director, graduate studies director, and dean of faculty.
