Dr. Thomison, ’24 has more than 15 years of experience in higher education and corporate settings, with a focus on career development, academic advising, training, recruitment, and employee onboarding.
As an Adler University alumna, her dissertation focused on the impact of oppression on career self-efficacy and leadership development among African American women leaders. She has been part of Adler since 2021, first as a doctoral academic Adviser and later as faculty, introducing transformational, self-authorship, and advising leadership practices. She also contributed to the launch of the Ph.D. Student Centre, creating a dedicated space for online students to connect, access resources, and navigate the dissertation process.
With more than 15 years of experience in higher education and corporate settings, Thomison has supported career development initiatives, academic advising models, training programs, student and employee orientations, and recruitment processes.
She is the founder of A Journey In Becoming Co., where she supports clients in self-management, leadership, and professional development through planning system design.
