OVERVIEW
Dr. Cantz is a licensed, board-certified clinical psychologist, Full Professor, and Director of Clinical Training at Adler University in Chicago, as well as Co-Founder of Orchard Wellness, PLLC. He previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and has held multiple leadership roles in clinical training. He maintains an independent psychoanalytic practice in Chicago and the Northshore and serves on the boards of Akiba Schechter Jewish Day School and the Associated Talmud Torahs, in addition to serving as Vice President for Nefesh-Chicago. His peer-reviewed scholarship spans the intellectual foundations of modern psychiatry, religious conversion, death anxiety, cross-cultural gender dynamics, the psychodynamics of music, and dystopian mythology and media.
