OVERVIEW
Dr. Maglio (she/her) has shaped Adler University’s counselling psychology master’s programs for nearly two decades, serving as program director for more than 13 years. A full professor, she is recognized for her leadership in keeping the programs responsive to the evolving Canadian counselling landscape and aligned with the highest standards of professional training.
Her scholarship focuses on the professional development and self-care of counselors, as well as alternative healing modalities. Clinically, she works with trauma, adolescents, career development, women’s concerns, and anxiety, maintaining a small private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia. Across her career, Dr. Maglio has been dedicated to preparing future counselors while advancing practices that strengthen the field and support well-being.
