OVERVIEW
Dr. Sheri Mayhew is an Adjunct Faculty member at Adler University, teaching in the Psychology in Health and Wellness and Industrial Organizational Psychology programs. She brings over 25 years of experience in community-based mental health, holding progressively senior leadership roles. A Registered Social Worker and collaborative leader, she is known for fostering strengths-based, client-centered practices through transformational, servant, and participative leadership.
Dr. Mayhew has taught in various college and university settings and supports Capstone students at Adler. She has a strong record of innovation in community health and is a dedicated advocate for disability rights.
Dr. Mayhew is the current National Director of Family Services with Huntington Society of Canada. She has 25+ years working as a front line case manager, mental health and addictions specialist, group therapy facilitator, and has held various senior leadership roles within the Non Profit Sector/Social Services/Academia.
