People who have committed violent and sex offences are often generalized as a group of risky, evil and therefore feared individuals. These “criminals” are not a heterogeneous group, and their risk profiles differ markedly. This workshop is informed by over 30 years of experience or work with thousands of incarcerated and parole supervised individuals in the Canadian federal corrections system, and focuses on Adlerian applications to criminal behavior, crime cycle, and effective interventions aimed to reduce recidivism.
