OVERVIEW
Licensed for more than 20 years, Dr. Cortes focuses her clinical and research work on trauma and attachment injuries in systems and supervision. She has presented nationally and internationally on these topics and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, both public and private, as well as in several universities.
She is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Supervisor Mentor, and a member of the International Family Therapy Association. She has been teaching with Adler since 2018 in both the master’s and doctoral programs.
