University News | 11.14.24

Two respected organizations in higher education rankings recognized Adler University and its programs among the best in the country. Research.com included Adler University in its 2024 Most Popular Psychology Degree Programs Ranking in America, while Intelligent.com ranked Adler in the top 25 in four categories for online psychology and leadership degree programs.

The recognition from Research.com reflects the University’s commitment to high-quality, student-centered psychology education. This acknowledgment underscores Adler’s success in fostering a rigorous and enriching academic environment based on a thorough evaluation led by experienced data scientists.

In addition, Intelligent.com ranked Adler in the top 25 across four categories for online psychology and leadership programs, using a comprehensive methodology that emphasized academic quality, cost, graduation rates, and return on investment. Adler was recognized for:

The data-driven assessment by Intelligent.com relied on credible sources, including the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, U.S. News & World Report, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, to ensure the recognized programs met high standards of academic excellence and positive student outcomes.

“It is a tremendous honor for our programs, grounded in the enduring principles of Adlerian Psychology, to be recognized,” shared Lisa Coleman, Ph.D., president of Adler University. “This acknowledgment reaffirms our role as a leader in the field of psychology and our commitment to the values of community and social interest — principles that are foregrounded through the education of our students and continue to shape our academic mission. As we continue to advance our work of creating future health care leaders, this recognition underscores our dedication to addressing today’s complex health challenges with resilience and purpose and fostering positive, lasting change in the health and well-being of communities worldwide.”

Inclusion in these two national rankings builds on a growing list of recognitions for the University and its programs. Earlier this year, Forbes Advisor named Adler as having one of the country’s top online Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology. In addition, the University also received Insight Into Diversity’s Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award for 2024.

Research.com and Intelligent.com provide comprehensive information on higher education, including annual rankings. Research.com offers a wide range of well-researched, data-driven guides and resources prepared by a team of experts to answer questions and help prospective students make informed decisions.
