Dr. Taromi’s teaching and scholarship span counseling, supervision and research, with an emphasis on connecting theory to applied practice. Before joining Adler University, he directed mental health programs in nonprofit settings, advancing initiatives to expand access to care and strengthen community-based resources.
At Adler, Taromi teaches Community Psychology and Program Evaluation, History of Applied Psychology, Communication, and Group Dynamics. He is also active in mentoring graduate students, focusing on collaboration, equity in mental health access, and preparing practitioners to contribute across communities and systems.
