Dr. Fletcher is a recognized expert in counseling and performance-related challenges with more than 30 years of experience working with clinical clients as well as athletes, teams, and sport organizations. Known for her applied work with youth and collegiate athletes, she integrates clinical training with sport science and evidence-based approaches to mental performance, resilience, and well-being.
She leads Adler University’s Sport and Human Performance program in Chicago, where she combines her background as a Division I athlete and USA Hockey Certified Level 4 Coach with her academic training to prepare the next generation of practitioners. Dr. Fletcher earned her master’s degree in community counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and her doctorate in counseling and counselor education with a specialization in sport psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
A lifelong athlete herself, she continues to compete in running events and triathlons, bringing firsthand insight into the intersection of sport, mental skills training, and human potential. She has been married to her partner Mike for over 28 years and has two adult children, Noah and Isaac.
