Adler Chief of Staff and VP of University Relations, Damon Lewis Williams, Jr., opened the event by welcoming the mayor and his team, and students, staff, and faculty. President Lisa Coleman then sat down with Mayor Johnson and engaged in lively dialogue on topics that affect the higher education experience, such as workforce development and affordable housing.
The mayor is visiting universities around Chicago to get to know the presidents, staff, and students to understand more deeply why students choose to attend each institution and why they want to attend school in Chicago.
