Overview

Overview

I hold a student-centered approach to education where I infuse the interests, experiences, and background of those in my class into our exploration of the topics I teach. A core belief I hold is drawing on the richness of the lives of the students in order to bring in diverse perspectives and create an educational experience inclusive of the variety of views and understandings in our society. In turn, I help build a community for my learners reflective of the world around them and one that allows for genuine engagement in the challenges we are presented so together we can begin to explore solutions for impact both locally and globally.

In my life, I have continually worked hard to create change around me and be an active developer of solutions to our most pressing challenges. My research, strategic analysis, and management of complex projects has helped fuel important change in different organizational settings. Building collaborative relationships in and across various settings has ignited a multiplier effect, allowing for the sharing solutions and the building of larger initiatives to improve the various organizations and institutions I have supported.

Adler University is a beautiful and diverse community of socially engaged and socially active changemakers. I believe we have a globally unique opportunity and responsibility to make life better for everyone because of our values. My energy and focus is directed at ensuring our community continues to grow and be enriched by a variety of perspectives, and that our work continues to build rich networks of learning, sharing, and partnership so we may in turn fuel the change we know is possible in our world.
