OVERVIEW

Dr. Grant is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with more than a decade of experience providing trauma-informed care, psychological assessment, and therapy with adolescents, young adults, women, and marginalized populations. Her research interests focus on the intersections of racism and media, identity development in the African American community, and the experiences of minority graduate students.

She completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology, followed by an APA-accredited internship with Adler Community Health Services – Division of Teen Wellness and Opportunity (formerly the Juvenile Justice Division) and a postdoctoral residency at the San Diego Center for Children in the Residential Assessment Department, where she honed expertise in child and adolescent psychodiagnostic testing and therapy.

Dr. Grant has provided services through Youth Outreach Services, After School Matters, and The Chicago High School for the Arts. She is also trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule–2 and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
