Adler University’s COVID-19 Student Support Scholarship has provided grants totaling nearly $1 million to support students experiencing financial hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To date, we have made 962 awards to students at all three campuses totaling $974,416 in three rounds of funding, in a combination of U.S. and Canadian dollars. The most recent round of awards was made on March 11.
The student relief awards were made possible by gifts from our philanthropic community, secured by the Office for Institutional Advancement, and U.S. federal government funding. We also dedicated additional institutional funds to increase the total number of awards available to students.
The COVID-19 Student Support Scholarship aims to help students struggling with expenses such as food, housing, course materials, and health care during the pandemic.
During each round of funding, we awarded grants to eligible applicants with the greatest level of demonstrated need. Most students received grants in the amount of $1,000 or $2,000. Adler University is committed to supporting our students who are experiencing financial hardships during the pandemic. We continue to identify and pursue additional funding opportunities to support students.
