OVERVIEW
Dr. Jia is a clinical faculty member of Adler Community Health Services (ACHS) at Adler University. She supervises both Psy.D. practicum students and interns in providing assessment and therapy to the community. She graduated from the University of British Columbia. Her research dissertation focused on social functioning in children with behavioural problems. Dr. Jia has a private practice where she provides treatment for anxiety disorders, ADHD, and emotional dysregulation. She also has a passion for supporting first- and second-generation immigrants from East Asia by providing culturally sensitive care. Her primary modalities for therapy are Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
