OVERVIEW
Dr. Shienko is an adjunct faculty in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program, with specific expertise in workplace well-being, ethical organizational practice, and the psychological effects of social and digital environments on employee behavior. With over five years of experience in higher education, she has developed and taught a wide range of courses related to organizational systems, ethics, human resource development, and IO psychology, demonstrating a solid grasp of applied business psychology principles. Her research contributions — spanning peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference presentations — address timely topics such as ethics of AI use, job satisfaction, workplace trauma, organizational belonging, social media-related stress, social media use in the workplace, and leadership development. Dr. Shienko also has experience with large-scale mixed-methods studies, structural equation modeling, course design, and consulting work focused on organizational assessment tools. Her scholarly work often integrates psychological theory with practical business applications.
