Dr. Tobiaz is an experienced leader in forensic psychology education with extensive expertise in curriculum development and graduate training. As national curriculum chair for the Forensic Psychology Program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, he collaborated across campuses to design course content, establish learning outcomes, and develop signature assignments for programmatic review. Among their contributions were the creation of Forensic Documentation, Report Writing, and Testifying and Correctional Counseling and Rehabilitation in the United States and Germany, a study abroad course consistently sought after by students.
Since 2022, Dr. Tobiaz has directed Adler University’s Master of Arts in Forensic Mental Health Leadership, overseeing curriculum, faculty, and student success in this specialized field. Prior to Adler, he served for eight years as department chair of the Counseling Department at The Chicago School’s Washington, D.C. campus, where he advanced academic quality, supported faculty development, and guided students preparing for professional practice.
