OVERVIEW
Dr. Li’s scholarly interests include measurement, LGBTQ+ issues, and expanding access to mental health services for individuals who cannot afford care. He teaches research and statistics and practices from a psychodynamic therapeutic orientation, addressing a range of general mental health concerns. Dr. Li serves as an APA site accreditation visitor and an editor for a SAGE journal. He has published articles on measurement and on community and school-based prevention programs, and he is the author of a statistics textbook. His community work includes partnering with PFLAG to support LGBTQ+ individuals and families, as well as advocacy for marriage equality and gun control.
