Dr. Cabrera is a scholar-practitioner in organizational leadership with expertise in communications, strategy, and change management. Her work focuses on translating leadership theory into applied practice, preparing students to navigate complexity and drive meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.
At Adler University, she serves as program director for the online Master of Arts and Ph.D. programs in organizational leadership. Dr. Cabrera played a key role in developing and designing these programs to reflect “leadership at work,” ensuring students move beyond models into real-world application.
Her professional background spans Fortune 500 companies, diplomacy, and nonprofit organizations, experience she draws on to guide students in mastering leadership principles and applying them effectively in diverse contexts.
