Tenure
Adler has offered a tenure program since the 2023-2024 academic year. Tenure supports educational integrity, academic freedom, and sound research practices. Our approach to tenure values and recognizes all facets of faculty work, not just peer-reviewed publications. All full-time Adler faculty have the opportunity to apply for tenure upon completing five years of service at the University and achieving the rank of associate professor.
Research funding
Adler University faculty have opportunities to advance their scholarship and research with support from foundations, federal agencies, and partner organizations. Competitive funding opportunities are coordinated through the Office of Institutional Advancement’s grants manager, who assists faculty in identifying and pursuing external awards.
