Overview

James Halbert, Ph.D., is the Program Director for the Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Adler University. He has a strong background in clinical research, in which most of his focus has been on cardiovascular disease and mental stress. His current research and interest have been to investigate and improve Online Education as it is becoming the more popular choice for higher education.

He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Capella University and completed a clinical research post-doc at the Medical College of Georgia on the Augusta University campus. Dr. Halbert is also the board chairman for Thrive Academy in Augusta, Georgia. He is an expert in research methodology, organizational leadership, employee motivation, faculty development, and spiritual growth.
